Our Assos adventure began with a search for an alternative to Bodrum where we had spent our holidays for years, right after it had lost its nature and authenticity. From the first moment, we fell in love with Assos.
We were impressed by its nature, ambiance and culture, hence we started off our adventure by buying a small plot. Our project grew together with our dreams and evolved further by taking the form of Ida Costa Hotel, named after the mythology of Mount Ida.
Built with traditional Aegean architecture through natural stones, our hotel is surrounded by olive trees on a nine acre pilot. Everything is well thought and planned in detail to create this peaceful and comfortable environment located on the coast with Mount Ida behind. Our spacious rooms are way higher than the region’s standards with minimum 30 square meter built up area.
Beautiful Aegean design aside, as a family who is in love with Aegean cuisine, we formed a perfect kitchen crew and a rich daily food menu to make you experience delicious tastes. And lastly, for the ones who wants to escape from the fatigue of the city and stress, we created Ida Spa that offers relaxing massages, along with Turkish bath and sauna services.
We really enjoyed every part throughout this journey, and we hope you get the same pleasure we had during your stay in Assos and Ida Costa.
Hoping to see you soon,
Uğur & Hülya Olcay
We were looking for a luxury hotel to celebrate my 40th year birhtday and decided upon the Ida Costa based on its recent positive reviews and breathtaking photos on their website.
We were more than satisfied when we arrived and actually didn't do it justice - the location is breathtaking, the staff could not have been more accommodating and their breakfast is legendary! The rooms well furbished, light and with air conditioning, and we had a room with a balcony facing the glorious view.
The hotel is wonderful, but the staff is what really makes it a “dream”.
I always had a degree of skepticism in luxury hotel experiences, but Ida Costa gave me a shot of confidence and belief a personalised, caring service does still exist.
Magical and Relaxing. My dream come true.
My husband and I would go back any time - it has been a very pleasant stay.
Deniz serin, berrak, tek kelimeyle harika. Yemekler harika, servis mükemmel, her şeyin tadı iyi.
Ida Costa is located in one of the best spots of North Aegean coast of Turkey. Assos has both a great historical heritage and excellent nature with full of olive trees around. The hotel has a tremendous architectural design suited with the local values. You will be amazed by a rich variety of special plants around and high quality of natural stones used in outdoor architecture.
The sea is clear and the beach is very silent. There is no noise around the hotel because the area is very isolated. Rooms are designed very simplistic but highly comfortable. You can eat your dinner at hotel or you can go to Assos Antique Port which is a "must-see" district. The hotel is not suitable for families with children since the owner of the hotel Mr. Ugur is very keen on silence of the area. So the hotel is for singles or childless couples and groups.
Mr. Ugur is always on board and he is very friendly, talkative and helpful. You will really enjoy his companionship.
Lastly, do not forget to hug the olive trees at garden.
We stayed in this hotel during 15-19 May with my husband, the hotel is outside Assos centre on a beatiful bay with no crowds around. I particularly liked the fact that it is outside of the centre. The hotel is decorated beautifully and tastefully. The room we stayed had no view but I bet the rooms with views must be magnificient. The hotel is boutique so no crowds within the hotel as well and no open buffets. Everyday breakfast is served with inclusion of tasteful marmalades from the region and the dinners are also similar giving a taste of Aegean/ Mediterranean Turkish dishes. I would definitely recommend this hotel for escaping the city and enjoying some peace with your significant other.
